These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Movr mobile application and website (the “Platform”).

Movr is operated by Movr Collective Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No: 17009393) (“Movr”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account or using Movr, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.


1. About Movr

Movr is a social running platform that enables users to:

  • Discover and join organised runs
  • Create and manage runs
  • Build user profiles
  • Connect with other runners

Movr provides a digital platform only.

We do not organise, supervise, manage, control, or endorse any physical events, meetups, or activities arranged through the Platform.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Movr.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.


3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You are responsible for any actions taken through your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.


4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or endanger others
  • Post unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or offensive content
  • Impersonate another individual
  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • Organise events that promote unsafe or illegal activity

Movr reserves the right to remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts at its discretion where user behaviour poses a risk to others or the integrity of the Platform.


5. Participation and Assumption of Risk

Participation in any run, event, or meetup arranged through Movr is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

Physical exercise and outdoor activity carry inherent risks, including risk of injury, illness, or death.

By participating in any activity organised through the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for assessing your own health, fitness, and ability to participate
  • You assume all risks associated with participation
  • You are responsible for your own safety and personal belongings
  • You are responsible for evaluating the suitability and safety of any other participants

Movr does not:

  • Supervise events
  • Verify user identities
  • Verify fitness levels
  • Provide medical advice
  • Provide insurance coverage

You agree that Movr is not responsible for the conduct, actions, or omissions of any user.

We recommend consulting a qualified medical professional before beginning any new exercise programme.


6. Organisers

Users who create or organise runs are solely responsible for:

  • The safety and structure of the event
  • Ensuring the event is lawful
  • Communicating accurate information
  • Managing participant expectations

Movr does not act as an event organiser and does not assume liability for events created by users.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movr Collective Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury or death arising from participation in events
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Disputes between users
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunity

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.


8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Movr Collective Ltd, its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of:

  • Your participation in events
  • Your organisation of events
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your interaction with other users

9. Subscriptions and Payments

If subscription features are introduced:

  • Payments will be processed through Apple In-App Purchases
  • Subscription pricing and billing terms will be clearly disclosed within the app
  • Apple’s billing and cancellation policies will apply

Movr does not store payment card details.


10. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account directly within the Movr mobile application.

Deletion of an account will result in removal or anonymisation of associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


11. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, software, trademarks, and design elements are the property of Movr Collective Ltd.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.


12. Platform Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform.

Movr may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.


13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Breach these Terms
  • Pose a safety risk
  • Engage in abusive behaviour
  • Undermine the integrity of the Platform

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
